Francisco Sastre (Sao Paolo, Brazil) scored his sixth goal of the season 57 seconds into the second overtime period to give the No. 13 Post University men's soccer team a 2-1 victory on Sunday afternoon against Philadelphia. The Eagles have won eight consecutive games and are now 10-1 on the season and 8-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play.

"Philadelphia is a very good team. They have great pace to deal with and are difficult to break down," said head coach
Ted Haley. "We were in tune with how we wanted to play, but didn't play our best. We kept pushing and it worked out."

Jon Dzurilla (Torrington, Conn.) dribbled past two defenders on the right side of the penalty area and passed it ahead to Sastre on the left side to setup the game-winning goal. Sastre kicked it to the right side of the goal for the score.

Jean Louis Cadet (Sunrise, Fla.) found the back of the net to put the Eagles in front 1-0.

The Rams had a chance to tie the game early in the second half. Chris Kulczytzky hit the crossbar on a header off a corner kick by Armando Canela. Thomas Attamante made three second-half saves to keep the deficit at one goal.

Post committed a foul just outside the penalty area in the 86
th minute to setup the tying goal. David Lawrence curved a low ball to the right side of the net for the score.

The Eagles were outshot for just the third time this season 13-11, but held a 9-6 advantage in shots on goal. Senior
Andre Lindsay (Clarendon, Jamaica) made a season-high five saves.

"Winning eight games in a row and having 10 wins through 11 games is amazing. I'm proud we've kept it together. It's our goal to with the CACC Regular Season Championship and we're in very good shape right now," added Haley.

Post faces a tough task on Wednesday, Oct. 16 as it heads to Bentley. The Falcons are currently ranked eighth in the East Region. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
