Post (7-7, 6-2 CACC) closed the gap to single-digits at 60-52 with 3:00 left as junior

Raven Wright-James (Middletown, Conn.) nailed a shot from behind the arc. On the Eagles next possession freshman Haley Griffin (Plainfield, Conn.) made two free throws to make the score 62-57 with 1:32 left.
The Eagles couldn't manage to get any closer as the Rams went 6-for-6 from the free throw line down the stretch to hold on for the 70-63 victory.
Griffin scored 10 points and grabbed seven boards off the bench. Mansilla and Latham each added nine points and five rebounds.
Post led by six early in the first half as Wright-James and Latham hit shots from distance to give the Eagles a 10-4 advantage at the 12:53 mark. Tori Arnao hit a jumper for Philadelphia with 9:06 left in the half to put the Rams ahead for good at 13-12.
The Eagles outrebounded the Rams 45-42 and held a 21-13 advantage in bench scoring. Philadelphia outscored Post 28-22 in the paint and 16-7 off turnovers.
Post will be back home on Wednesday, Jan. 9 to take on Nyack in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
