SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – Helped by a one-under, 71, by junior
Thomas Rees (Cardiff, Wales), the Eagles improved on their first round score by 28 strokes as they shot a 306 on Wednesday at the NCAA Division II Championship. Through two rounds, Post sits in 20
th place overall at 640 (334-306). The top eight teams after 56-holes advance to the final bracket.
Rees was one of four Eagles to birdie the Cardinal Club's par-5, ninth hole and finished with three birdies on the day and is in a tie for 64
th. The 71 was his first round under-par since the first round of the Barton Intercollegiate on March 19. Sophomore
Anthony Netto (Dusseldorf, Germany) carded a 76 in round two and sits in tie for 80
th after 36-holes.

Ross Earnshaw (York, England) was the only Eagle with a birdie at the 14
th as he shot an 80 on Wednesday and is 105
th. Freshman
Sebastian Noesgaard (Copenhagen, Denmark) rebounded from a 92 in round one with a 79 in the second round and sits in 107
th. Freshman
Anthony McNamara (Beacon Falls, Conn.) pared his final four holes for an 85 and is 108
th.
Chico State took over the team lead with an 11-under 277 on Wednesday. The Wildcats' Eric Frazzetta shot the low-round of the tournament with a nine-under 63 to take the individual lead.
Post has a tough task ahead of itself tomorrow if it wants to advance to the final bracket. The Eagles will tee-off tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m.
