Post University Volleyball Falls to Molloy 3-1 in Season Opener

ROCKVILLLE CENTER, NY (September 7, 2010) Post University's volleyball team lost is season opening match to Molloy College 3-1 Tuesday night. Kelli Reynolds led the Eagles with 11 Kills in her first career game.

Molloy's Angelica Nicalek had 13 kills with nine errors for the Lions, while Meaghan Meyer had nine kills.

The Lions took the opening set 25-14. Post University rallied back in the second set to take a 29-27 victory when with the set tied at 27, Reynolds and Liz Knight earned consecutive kills. Knight had eight kills on the night.

The Lions took the third set 25-23 after leading by as much as six early in the set. Late in the set the Eagles cut the lead to one, but could not tie the game allowing Arille Wichard to make the final kill.

Molloy took the fourth set in decisive fashion 25-14, for a 3-1 final score.

Post University will be back in action Wednesday night at Nyack.
