New Haven Tops Women’s Soccer 12-1

NEW HAVEN, Conn (September 5, 2010) Post University’s Women’s Soccer team lost to the University of New Haven 12-1 Sunday afternoon. The Eagles are now 0-2 on the young season.
New Haven took 21 shots in the first half alone with Eagle goalkeeper Liz Johnson making seven saves, allowing eight goals.
Trailing 12-0 with just over five minutes to play in the contest Brianna Docimo found Susan Curran off a corner kick for Post University’s only tally.
New Haven’s Emily Buckley-Matura scored three goals adding one assist, while keeper Kim Taylor made two saves.
Post University will be back in action again on Wednesday at Nyack.
