Post University Women’s Soccer Falls to Pace 6-0 in Season Opener

BRIARCLIFF, NY (September 2, 2010) Post University’s Women’s Soccer team fell to Pace 6-0 Thursday afternoon in the 2010 season opener. Pace University had five different athletes score in the winning effort.
Elizabeth Johnson started the game for the Eagles in goal when the first tally was netted by Pace’s Amanda Mundorf assisted by Olivia Mapplethorpe at 9:18. Post University goalkeeper Michelle Chadwick stepped into the net for the second half.
Mundorf would be the player of the game for Pace scoring two goals and two assists. Pace scored three goals in each half including scored by Mundorf, Lauren Foballe, Jessica Paskowsk, Kayla Roche, and Cheyenne James. Three of the goals were unassisted.
Post University will be back in action again Monday at New Haven. Game time is set for 1pm.
