Men’s Soccer Tabbed 4th in CACC Preseason Poll
NEW HAVEN, Conn (August 19, 2010) Post University’s men’s soccer team has been picked to finish fourth in the annual Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference coaches poll. Wilmington was ranked number one after having an undefeated regular season and NCAA birth in 2009.
This year’s club will feature many of the same faces from the 2009 season. Included among them is Francis Eno, a member of the 2008 CACC Championship squad. As a freshman, Eno scored 11 goals while adding three assists.
Eltany Morias returns after scoring four goals last season with a strong second half of the year. Frantzy Noze enters the season with nine career goals, including three in 2009. Mark Risberger will add strength to the front line after playing in six games in the later half of the season.
Sophomore Errol Reid will be back in net making 55 saves during his freshman campaign. Reid also
registered four shutouts. On the defensive side of the ball, junior Hylton Davis returns to round out the lineup for the Eagles.
Post University will play its first game of the 2010 season on September 2nd at Merrimack in the opening day of the Merrimack Tournament.
