Post University Assistant Coach Edmund Saunders Featured on Fox and NBC
WATERBURY, Conn (July 16, 2010) Post University Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach Edmund Saunders was featured on Fox 61 sports with Rich Coppola and NBC 30 with Kevin Nathan. The segments aired on July 15th.
Saunder’s hire was announced Thursday by Post University, which teams the former UConn Husky and member of the 1999 National Championship team, with Eagles new head coach Al Sokaitis.
Sokaitis is one of the most respected college coaches in the industry having made seven trips to the NCAA Tournament as a head coach, as well as receiving numerous Coach of the Year awards. Sokaitis was named NCAA Coach of the Month two times throughout his career.\
