Cody Ek Signs with Post University's Golf Team

WATERBURY, Conn (June 11, 2010) Post University's five time defending CACC Champion golf team has added Cody Ek from Rancho Bernardo, California to the 2010-2011 roster. 

“At first I did not know much about Post University, but once I found out the Eagles winning tradition it peaked my interest,” said Ek. “I feel at home there with it being a small school and I know I will have better relationships with my professors. The team has good pride and swagger with a focus on winning.”

In his senior year, Ek was a medalist three times throughout the season. In addition, he placed in the top ten of the North County Championships shooting 75-75 over two days. Ek is just as impressive off the course with his attitude towards the game as he was nominated for the Male Sportsmanship Award at his high school. 

"Cody is a tournament hardened player who has proven himself among the best high school players in California,” said Pete Stevens, Post University Head Coach. “He is confident in his game and should be able to step right into the line-up and contribute to the success of the program. Cody will get better as he matures and I look forward to coaching him and he will be one of the players to help us get to the national championship."
