Post University's Baseball and Softball Teams Make CACC Playoffs

WATERBURY, Conn (May 3, 2010) Post University's baseball and softball teams have both made the CACC playoffs with competition to begin this week.

The Eagles baseball team was victorious in two must win games on Saturday afternoon against Chestnut Hill, which earned them the fifth seed in the six team tournament. Their first game will be played at  No. 6 Concordia at 2pm. 

Post University split with Concordia in road doubleheader on April 2nd, which was the two teams only meeting this season. 

Post University's softball team lost two games against No. 5 Philadelphia University on Sunday afternoon putting the Eagles in the seventh seed. The first round of the double elimination softball tournament will be played at Georgian Court against Caldwell, the team that is ranked second. Caldwell swept the Eagles in New Jersey two weeks ago in a pair of games. 

The softball team is scheduled to play at 10am on Thursday morning.
