Tom Sirois Named CACC Pitcher of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn (May 10, 2010) Post University baseball player Tom Sirois has been named this week's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Pitcher of the Week. It is the first time Sirois has earned weekly honors from the conference this season.

Sirois picked up two wins during the CACC playoffs in two games that helped propel the Eagles into championship contention. The first was on Tuesday at Concordia when Post University took a win over the Clippers in a single game allowing the Eagles to advance in the second round of the CACC Tournament.

The second of Sirois' wins was a shutout against Dominican in a must win game Saturday forcing a rubber match to settle the 2010 CACC Baseball Championship. Through two games Sirois maintained an ERA of 1.00.
