Tierney Marceau and Dan Steers Named Post University Athletes of the Week

WATERBURY, Conn (April 5, 2010) Post University softball player Tierney Marceau and baseball player Dan Steers have been named this week's Athletes of the Week. 

Marceau competed in two games on Saturday against Georgian Court with three hits and three RBIs on the day. Marceau did not commit a single fielding error and maintained a .375 batting average throughout the week.

Steers pitched eight innings in the Eagles 4-1 win over Concordia Friday afternoon. Steers allowed only one run while striking out 10 batters earning his fourth win this season. He now has a 4-1 pitching record.

Softball will play today at home against Nyack beginning at 3pm. Baseball hosts Caldwell on Wednesday before finishing out the week on the road.
