David McGregor* Named CACC Golfer of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn (April 19, 2010) Post University's David McGregor* has been named CACC golfer of the week after winning the CACC Championship Golf tournament for the third consecutive season. McGregor lead the Eagles to their fifth straight CACC crown.

McGregor (76-71—147) shot one under par on the final day of the tournament and ended up tying senior teammate Lee Wanklyn. The tie sent the tournament into a sudden death playoff round for the first time in conference history, won by McGregor on the second hole. Wanklyn received an honorable mention for his second place effort.

The Eagles now prepare for another appearance at the NCAA Division II Golf East Regional at the Resort in Glade Springs in Daniels, West Virginia May 2nd-5th.
