Post University Golf Wins Peter King Memorial

RIVERHEAD, NY (April 11, 2010) Post University's Golf team won the Peter King Memorial Golf Tournament hosted by Dowling college by two strokes over second place finisher American International. The Eagles were the best of 13 teams.

“This is a good win going into the conference Championship,” said Pete Stevens, Eagles Head Coach. “David McGregor* played well as did Marchant di Villier and I think we are starting to gain momentum."

McGregor (76-71—147) was second overall only one stroke behind tournament winner Gregory Strattner (74-72--146) from AIC. Di Villier (76-77---153) placed 9th, Lee Wanklyn (84-75—159) was 18th, Thomas Rees (77-86—163) was 30th, and James Livingston (86-82—168)  was 37th. 

The Eagles will compete for their fifth consecutive conference championship on Monday and Tuesday at the Lyman Orchard Golf Club in Middlefield, CT.
