NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 1, 2010) – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has announced its All-Academic team for the 2009-10 winter athletic season. A total of 34 student-athletes among the 14 conference schools earned a place on the list including Post University Women’s Basketball Players Taylor Doyle (3.55 GPA), Elizabeth Johnson (3.66 GPA), and Kelsey Lengyel-Jacovich (3.94 GPA).

All three student-athletes are following the new Sports Management degree program at Post University, which began in the fall of 2009 preparing students for an exciting career in the $250 billion sports industry.

Both Doyle and Johnson are two-sport athletes who were also a part of the 2009 Fall All-Academic team. Doyle plays volleyball in the fall, while Johnson is the goalkeeper on the Women’s Soccer team.

In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic team, recipients must have participated in a winter CACC Championship sport, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student at their current school for at least two semesters. In addition, they must achieve a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher.
