Jon Lucky and Trevon Hamlet Named to ECAC All-Star Second Team

CAPE COD, Mass (April 1, 2010) Post University Men's Basketball players Jon Lucky and Trevon Hamlet have been named to the 2009-2010 ECAC All Stars Second Team. It is the first time either athlete has been recognized by the Eastern College Athletic Conference.

"Jon and Trevon are both very deserving of this award,” said Mike Donnelly, Post University Head Coach. “Despite missing ten games due to injury, Jon proved that he was one of the better all-around players in the region, and Trevon Hamlet had one of the best freshman seasons in the history of our basketball program. Trevon was our most consistent player throughout the season. He works hard and has a chance to become a great player at Post University".

Hamlet started 30 games for the Eagles in his freshman year and scored 18 points per game totaling

540 throughout the season. Hamlet also pulled down 6.2 rebounds per game and had 50 blocks.

Lucky came into the program as the first graduate student to play basketball at Post University. As a former Division I athlete at the University of Rhode Island, Lucky quickly adapted to the Division II style of play scoring 17.1 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.

Both Hamlet and Lucky were named to the 3rd All-CACC team for the 2009-2010 season.
