WATERBURY, Conn (March 30, 2010) Post University's Golf team has climbed to 3rd in the NCAA East Region Rankings. The improvement comes after the Eagles placed 7th in an extremely competitive 60th Annual Division II Southern California Tournament last week.

"We aren't clicking on all cylinders yet and we need improvement from the 4 and 5 guys in order to be where we should be,” said Pete Stevens, Eagles Head Coach. “We start our regional schedule next week at the Peter King on Long Island so we will get some head to head action and then we will see how things will shake out for the rest of the spring."

Currently Post University is trailing CACC foe Wilmington and American International. The Eagles have won 4 consecutive conference championships and is hosting this year's tournament in mid-April in Middlefield, Connecticut. The team that stands the best chance at challenging Post University for the title is Wilmington University.

The 2010 CACC Championship will be decided on April 12-13.
