Golf Places 12th at Barton Invitational

WILSON, NC (March 10, 2010) Post University's Golf team slipped two positions on the second day of the Barton Invitational in Wilson, North Carolina to finish 12th of 15 teams. No. 21 Flagler College and No. 10 Barton took the top two spots of the tournament.

The Eagles were led by David McGregor* (73-80—153) who placed 43rd. Thomas Rees (77-77—154) shot two consistent rounds for a 48th place effort. Lee Wanklyn (77-79—156) placed 56th, Gavin Wilson (83-79—162) was 71st, and Marchant di Villiers (84-79—163) improved on the second day to place 74th.

The Eagles will be back in competition again from March 20-23 in California at the Mission Viejo Country Club. Last year, Post University placed 12th in the event.
