Spencer Smith and Monique Chance Named Post University Athletes of the Week
WATERBURY, Conn (March 1, 2010) Post University’s Spencer Smith and Monique Chance have been named this week’s Post University Athletes of the Week.
Smith guided the Eagles to a play-off berth following a 3-0 week in must win games. Smith scored 24 points per game last week, including a 27 point effort against Caldwell and 28 points against USP. In addition, he also came up with 12 steals.
Monique Chance had another productive week for the Women’s Basketball team averaging 14.3 points per game and 6.7 rebounds. Chance shot 80% from the charity stripe along with 45.9% shooting from the floor.
