Men’s Soccer: CACC Playoffs Today at Holy Family
WATERBURY, Conn (November 2, 2009) The Post University Men’s Soccer team faces #3 Holy Family in the first round of the CACC tournament this afternoon in Philadelphia. The Eagles come will attempt to defend their CACC title seeded in the 6th position.
“We have confidence going into today, even though we are on the road which is something we are used to this season,” said Head Coach Ted Haley. “Survive and advance is the mind set and we feel we can make some noise in the tournament.”
Holy Family defeated the Eagles earlier this season 3-1 on October 3rd, which was one of only six home games Post University had this season. The tigers had one 1st All-CACC team selection in sophomore forward Tim Weglicki. Post University’s seniors Andrew Nelson and Mike Semedo were also on the 1st all-conference team.
Game time for today’s game is set for 2pm.
