Maurice Johnson and Teresa Hodges Named Post University's Athletes of the Week

WATERBURY, Conn (November 2, 2009) For the second consecutive week Maurice Johnson has been named Post University's Male Athlete of the Week. Junior Teresa Hodges has earned the award for Female Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. 

Johnson earned the Male Athlete of the Week award after scoring 3 goals in the games against Felician and Wilmington last week, along with one assist totaling 7 points. 

Hodges led the Eagles Volleyball team in a 1-3 week with 37 kills (2.85/game), and 46 digs (3.54/game). Post University won a crucial match last Thursday night over Bloomfield 3-2, which secures a spot for the Eagles in postseason play. Hodges was also honored earlier this season on Sept. 14th as Female Athlete of the Week.
