All-CACC Team
NEW HAVEN, Conn (October 29, 2009) Five of Post University's Men's Soccer players have been named to the All-CACC team for 2009.
Mike Semedo and
Andrew Nelson made the 1st team All-CACC. Eagles scoring leader Maurice Johnson,
Dean Robinson, and
Johan Pineda all made the 2nd team All-CACC.
“It is outstanding to see these five student-athletes recognized by the CACC,” said Eagles Head Coach
Ted Haley. “I knew these seniors had the ability to be All-CACC. Their hard work over the year and pushing through the tough start has paid off.”
For Robinson and Pineda it is the second consecutive year they have made the 2nd All-CACC Team. Johnson was a member of the team in 2006.
Wilmington was the only other team to have five players named to the All-CACC team including Player of the Year senior Sargbah Tarpeh, who leads Division II soccer with 21 goals and 53 points.
