WATERBURY, Conn (February 8, 2010) Post University’s softball team enters its third season under the direction of head coach Tracey Garofalo coming off a 25-20 season. The Eagles return every starter from last year’s team including 2009 2nd All-CACC team selection, sophomore Amy Mantha.

Senior Stephanie Carrillo of the Post University Softball team is being featured on the CACC website in the “Faces of the CACC” section. Faces of the CACC is designed to highlight the personalities behind CACC member schools in continuing with the NCAA “I choose division II campaign.”

Waterbury, Conn. (Aug. 24, 2009) – The Post University Softball team is coming off a successful 2009 with a young and talented team. Adding to the excitement building for the 2010 season is the addition of standout pitcher Ashley Cummings.

Waterbury, Conn. (Aug. 5, 2009) – Post University will hold a one day Fall Softball Clinic on October 10, 2009. Athletes will be able to fine tune skill areas with instruction from the Post University Softball coaching staff.

Men's Swimming
WATERBURY, Conn (February 8, 2010) Men’s Swimmer Norbert Solis and Women’s Basketball player Elizabeth Johnson have been named this week’s Post University Athletes of the Week.

Solis competed in the East Stroudsburg Invitational on Saturday afternoon setting three school records. Solis set the record in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:02.90), 100 yard freestyle (52.17), and 50 yard freestyle (23.96).

Women's Basketball
WATERBURY, Conn (February 8, 2010) Men’s Swimmer Norbert Solis and Women’s Basketball player Elizabeth Johnson have been named this week’s Post University Athletes of the Week.

Johnson led the Eagles in scoring against Nyack last week by netting 18 points, pulling in one rebound, and made one steal. Johnson averages 10.1 points per game this season. She is now only one point away from scoring 500 for her career.
